Endless Glory

by Hope College Worship

"Endless Glory”
Recorded Live November 24, 2019 at the Gathering in historic Dimnent Chapel

Every year we mine the devotional material of our sung prayers in search of an album title. Each album is a celebration from the Gathering before Thanksgiving break. This year our album title is “Endless Glory” which is taken from a line in King of Kings. Glory has been a consistent theme in our worship this year. The word has been ringing in my head since last summer when Trygve led our staff on a journey around campus exploring all of the various spaces that Hope College has worshipped since its dawning days. When we entered Dimnent we spent some time with the plaque dedicated to Edward Dimnent, Hope’s 5th president (1918–1931. On the plaque Psalm 29:9 is quoted, “and all in God’s temple cry “glory.” Glory is such a marvelous and mysterious thing. What exactly is God’s glory? John Pipers describes the glory of God as "the manifest beauty of his holiness." Our prayer in these humble songs is that it might encourage you as you seek to worship God in all of his glory.

These songs are seeds that grew up in the soil of Hope. May the fruit bring all glory to God.

Soli Deo Gloria,
